Jonathan Mamakwa started off as a Band Manager in his hometown of Kingfisher Lake First Nation, Jonathan has been involved in community economic and business development field for 25+ years. He was involved as a BOD in Wasaya Corporation and took on the role as VP of Sales & Marketing. In other area, Jonathan was involved with the Musselwhite Agreement with Kingfisher Lake First Nation as the Signatory community in assisting with the benefits and revenue sharing and various business initiatives coming from the agreement. He was also originally involved with BBH and ownership communities finding business opportunities and setting up initiatives, furthermore, he was instrumental in the planning and setting up the TKG in Watay Power initiatives in the TKG community’s corridor. Extra curricular include Hunting big game, backyard cooking, road trips.
