Tom started getting involved Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug First Nation LP as a Project Manager and the Economic Development Officer. Tom has been involved in community economic and business development field for 30+ years. Tom was also involved in the setting up of the PDC Corporation and the communities’ economic strategy and system, during his time in KI, Tom also served as a Band Councillor for 9 consecutive years, eventually he relocated to Thunder Bay for employment where he worked for Wasaya Corporation as a resources worker and moved up to Management Trainee in Wasaya Airways, from then on, Tom was hired as a VP and then the President/CEO of Wasaya Airways. These days, Tom currently works for TKG LP. Extra curricular include watching hockey, reading, golf and concerts
